Day 281-- Trip to Seattle?

This pretty much explains my thought process

What this is trying to say is:

1.) I'm thinking about taking a trip to Seattle where Amazon Publishing and the University of Washington are located.

and

2.) I don't know how to draw an airplane.

Seattle is my favorite city! Yes, I know, it's cold and gray (and likely to get colder and grayer), but it's so beautiful... and they have so much good food! Have you ever been there?

Oh, here's an article you might be interested in on Seattle/books/publishing: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/09/business/09book.html?pagewanted=all

I think the airplane's pretty good, except the wings are kinda far back... it'd be nice if they were actually built like that, though, because your view would only be blocked if you were in the back few rows :-)

No, I haven't made it up to Seattle yet. I've had two really good experiences in Portland though. I figure that there are some good communications jobs up in the NW, but before I apply, it would be smart to fully check out WA and OR one more time. Plus I think it would be totally fun just in of itself.

Thanks for the article. Absolutely perfect. :)

Haha I love your doodles! I think Seattle would be a really good place for you, actually more than Portland. I like the idea of an even bigger city for you with more opportunities :)
